Drama

P2/3 have been taking part in a drama workshop with Mrs Linklater. We have been learning about solving problems and being kind to each other.

We have been working in groups to solve jigsaw puzzles. We discussed what makes a good team.

Then we played a game called 'Artists'. One person pretended to be the artist, and the other people were the clay. The artist had to very carefully shape the clay. We had to think about how they would look like in a certain situation. We shaped our clay into 3 different situations.

People who were getting on

People who had fallen out

People who were making up

This week we were given a challenge. We watched a short performance where 2 people had fallen out. We had to think of a way that they could solve their problem.

We came up with lots of suggestions.

We then acted out our suggestions.

P2/3 and P3/4 Trip to Lyness

Egg Rolling

On the last day of Term 3, P2/3 walked to Picky to roll eggs down the hill.
P2/3 had been learning about the Easter Story and thinking about the different symbols of Easter.

P2/3 learned what the egg means to Christians.

We designed and decorated our eggs.

We measured how far our eggs rolled.
